Projects

Through our South African subsidiary, WCI Group (Pty) Ltd, we have established two totally unique biochar production and processing sites:

KwaZulu-Natal Central Biochar
Processing Centre (Head Office)

This 25-hectare site features robust buildings and infrastructure. It processes local invasive trees into biochar, with small businesses hired to harvest biomass.

 

Zululand Biomass Generation and
Biochar Production Facility

Located on a 2,500-hectare private game reserve in northern KwaZulu-Natal, this site has an invasive species extraction agreement. It holds an estimated 40,000 tonnes of usable dried biomass. We’re negotiating additional agreements with nearby large landowners.
